About Playground Stage Inclusive Drama Classes
Every Playground Stage class is open to every student in the designated age range and PGS works with families to ensure students with disabilities, neurodivergences, medical conditions, or other access needs are provided the supports that will enable a positive creative learning experience.
Recognizing the value of being in community with those who shared our lived experiences, we offer classes specialized for those with neurodevelopment conditions and disabilities and cognitive and developmental disabilities. These classes emphasize multiple means of participation and entry-points, incorporate a variety of communication methods, and are facilitated to small class sizes to support the needs and interests of each student.

Explore the creative capabilities of your body, communication, and imagination! Beginning with individual exercises and group acting games, students strengthen their skills to express their ideas and emotions, solve problems, and work together. Students will progress towards devising a performance to share with their families and friends on the last day of class.
This is a drop-off class, designed for students to explore their creativity without an audience dynamic. Students are welcome to bring a personal care assistant if needed success with the understanding that the caregiver will actively participate alongside the students in the class.
