Mary Poppins the Musical

Playground Stage's 3rd Annual Summer Family Musical

Tickets are donation based, reserve ahead tickets are a suggested donation of $15/ticket. Donate-what-you-wish tickets will be available at the door 30 minutes prior to the show. Reserving tickets ahead of time is highly recommended.


Performances are located at the Asheville High School Arts Theatre

Mary Poppins is appropriate for all ages. The show is presented in two acts with one intermission. Run time is  2+ hours.

Performance Venue

Asheville High School Arts Theatre

Parking can be found in the student parking lot on the North side of campus. When you enter from McDowell Rd. stay to the right and go up the hill. Victoria Rd. entrance may be closed.


Doors will open 30 minutes before showtime

Make A Difference

Who Can Join?

The Summer Family Musical is a program for children and their adults to take part in a staged musical alongside professional actors and complete with costumes, scenery, and lights. The program is intended to foster bonding within families and to create community for families with children of all ages.

Who Can Join?

Any child ages 4 and older along with their family or caregiver who is interested in participating in a musical production. This is a free program to all participants.  

Dads, Moms, Grandparents, Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Siblings of all ages are invited to participate! Current, past, and new Playground Stage Families are invited to join!
